Peace, Love and Back to Reality :)

After returning to work last week, I learned real quick that working a full-time 5 day a week job , being a momma, and a wife is quite difficult!! I felt like I was running wild the entire week. Its always hard getting back into the swing of things after time off from a vacation.. but its a HUGE reality check getting back on schedule after 12 weeks off and having a baby!!

It was so exciting to see all of my friends at work and to finally be on a good routine/schedule, but leaving my baby girl at home was the hardest thing in life I have ever had to do. I am blessed and so very thankful for my daycare situation because Baylen stays with my mom everyday while I work. Mom comes over to the house each morning around 6:15 so that I can leave and get to work on time. Most days they leave and go to her house before lunch and thats where I pick her up after work..Im really not sure at this point how I would manage without her! Im for sure at this point that our laundry would be overflowing out the front door if she had not been so gracious to help us with it. :)  As time goes on, Im sure that juggling all the tasks in life will get easier but for now its amazing having her by my side for help..Thanks mom, I love you so much!

Jeremy and I have have been spiltting responsibilites for Baylen's care. Now that Im exclusively bottle feeding , and back to work we can alternate who gets up with her (that is.. if she wakes up before time for us to go to work) Here lately most nights she has been sleeping from around 9pm until 5:30-6:00 am!! (Way to go B!!) We also have been trying to share evenings so that each of us can have some time to do things that we each want to do. I typically pick Baylen up from moms around 4pm. Of course then we go home and nap, play, prepare dinner, etc! Jeremy usually gets into town from Atl around 5pm and then he heads to the Gym, usually 3 days a week. When he gets home which is typically between 6 and 6:30 we eat dinner and of course play with our angel :) Most evenings Jeremy will start B's bedtime routine by giving her bath and giving her nite nite bottle (I've usually had more time with her in the afternoon so its his way of spending time with her) This is my opportunity for some "me" time. I run in the subdivision 3 nights a week with my next door neighbor, check emails and of course blog! :) After Baylen goes to bed then its finally time for Jeremy and I to catch up and relax. Until this point i feel like its non-stop! As busy and tired as I am, I'm loving every minute of it!!

I often think that I would like to work less days in a week but I currently do not have that option at my current job..For now I enjoy being able to leave early when we arent busy! I'm definitely just taking it one day at a time and getting extremely ready for the summer sunshine because I hope to plan some fun things with our little girl :)
